Open a GPX file in COROS
A COROS watch gets routes through the COROS app: open the GPX with the app to save it, sync it to the watch, and start the route from the watch’s Navigation.

Steps
- Save the GPX to your phone. Download the .gpx to your phone, for example into the Files app.
- Open it with the COROS app. Tap the file (or tap Share) and choose the COROS app, then tap “Save” to add it to your routes.
- Sync it to the watch. In the COROS app, open the Explore page, tap the route library icon (top right), open the route and tap “Sync with Your Device”, then “Send”.
- Start it on the watch. Before starting an activity, open its Settings → Navigation and pick the route (or long-press Back during the activity → Navigation).
Quirks & limits
- There’s no Import button inside the COROS app — you add a GPX by opening or sharing the file into the app.
- On iPhone, opening a GPX straight from iMessage can fail; save it to Files first, or send it by AirDrop or email.
- Only COROS watches with navigation (e.g. PACE, APEX, VERTIX and NOMAD models) can follow a route.
