Steps

  1. Sign in to Polar Flow. Go to flow.polar.com and log in.
  2. Open Routes / Favourites. Find the routes or favourites section and choose to import a route.
  3. Upload your GPX. Select your .gpx to add it as a route.
  4. Sync your watch. Sync the watch via Polar Flow; on supported models the route appears under navigation.

Quirks & limits

  • Route navigation is limited to supported Polar models — some rely on a Komoot integration for turn guidance.
  • Check your watch’s route capacity for long tracks.

See the route before you upload it

Not sure the file is the right one? Drop it into the viewer first — you'll see the full track on a map with distance, elevation and speed. Nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a GPX route to a Polar watch?

Import the GPX into Polar Flow as a route, then sync a compatible watch. Route navigation depends on the model.

Does my Polar watch support GPX routes?

Only models with navigation do; some use a Komoot integration for turn-by-turn. Polar Flow stores the route regardless.
