Steps
- Sign in to Gaia GPS. Log in at gaiagps.com (a free account works) or open the app.
- Web: use Import Data. On gaiagps.com/map, click the “Import Data” button in the Tools toolbar on the right (or drag the file onto the map), choose your .gpx and click “Save Item”.
- App: import from Saved. In the app, tap Saved, then the three-dot menu in the top-right corner → “Import File”, and pick your .gpx. You can also share a .gpx from Files straight into Gaia GPS.
- Find it in your saved items. The track is saved to your account and syncs to your other devices.
Quirks & limits
- Import works on a free account; offline map downloads and premium map layers need Gaia GPS Premium.
- The website imports up to 1,000 features per file; the iOS app accepts files up to 15 MB.
