Open a GPX file in Ride with GPS

Ride with GPS can import a GPX as a Route (a planned line with cue sheets that syncs to bike computers) or as a Ride (a recorded activity). Choose Route if you want to navigate it.

Steps

  1. Sign in to Ride with GPS. Log in at ridewithgps.com.
  2. Open the upload control. Click “Upload” in the top navigation.
  3. Select your GPX file. Pick your .gpx and choose to import it as a Route or a Ride.
  4. Save and sync. Save. A Route can then be synced to a Garmin, Wahoo or other head unit for navigation.

  • Import as a Route (not a Ride) if you want cue sheets and device navigation.
  • Free accounts can upload; advanced navigation/offline features may require a paid plan.
